Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria obesa was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bubovice, which is in a Ludfordian carbonate limestone in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic.

It was recombined as Pleurotomaria (Gosseletina) obesa by Perner (1907); it was recombined as Kozelconcha obesa by Wagner (2023).
