Fistulipora maanshanensis was named by Yang (1958) [Year uncertain]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ma'anshan, Wujiaping Formation, Changlong County, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China.
