Mimeosaurus tugrikinensis
Taxonomy
Mimeosaurus tugrikinensis was named by Alifanov (1989). Its type specimen is PIN 3143/102 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tugrikiyn-Shire [SMPE] (PIN coll. 3143), which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Mimeosaurus crassus by Gao and Hou (1995).
