Jeholopsyche liaoningensis

Taxonomy
Jeholopsyche liaoningensis was named by Ren et al. (2009). Its type specimen is CNU-M-LB-2005-002, an exoskeleton (complete insect), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2005 collection, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Jeholopsyche.
