Taxonomy
Svabula vzorkovana was named by Vršanský (2005). Its type specimen is PIN 4306/178, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sharin-Gol (bed 350/6), which is in a Barremian terrestrial horizon in the Sharin-Gol Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Svabula.
