Tijubina pontei
Taxonomy
Tijubina pontei was named by Bonfim Júnior and Marques (1997). Its type specimen is Universidade Regional do Cariri - No MPSC - V 010 (Museu de Paleontologia de Santana do Cariri (MPSC-V 010), a skeleton, and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Barro Alto site (Sitio Barro Alto), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large horizon in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Tijubina.
