Monetianthus mirus
Taxonomy
Monetianthus mirus was named by Friis et al. (2009). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vale de Agua 320, which is in an Aptian/Albian fluvial-lacustrine claystone in the Figueira da Foz Formation of Portugal. It is the type species of Monetianthus.
