Austroraphidia brasiliensis
Taxonomy
Raphidia brasiliensis was named by Nel et al. (1990). Its type specimen is MNHN IPM-R54102, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MNHN collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Austroraphidia.
It was recombined as Austroraphidia brasiliensis by Willmann (1994), Martins-Neto (2002), Engel (2002).
