Zorotypus palaeus
Taxonomy
Zorotypus palaeus was named by Poinar (1988). Its type specimen is USNM BLPC-7406, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (USNM Brodzinsky Lopez-Pena coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
