Thaumastoplax eocenica

Taxonomy
Thaumastoplax eocenica was named by Woods (1922). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Negritos, which is in an Eocene shallow subtidal shale/sandstone in the Negritos Formation of Peru.

It was recombined as Palaeopinnixa eocenica by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2001), Schweitzer et al. (2010) and Luque et al. (2017).
