Taxonomy
Parafusulina sangobensis was named by Leven (1992). Its type specimen is GGM VI-213/243, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sangob River, sample 3685, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Gundara Formation of Tajikistan.
