Teleidosaurus calvadosii
Taxonomy
Teleosaurus calvadosii was named by Eudes-Deslongchamps (1866). Its type specimen is BMNH R2681 (LOST), a skull (complete skull and mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Caen, unknown locality, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian marine horizon in France.
It was recombined as Teleidosaurus calvadosii by Young et al. (2010), Bronzati et al. (2012) and Young et al. (2013).
