Taxonomy
Czekanowskites acuteplicatus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28428 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 42410, Liard River, which is in a Bithynian marine siltstone in the Toad Formation of Canada.
