Psilasyncolporites parvus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-12 (Catatumbo) Loc: 129X47.6 (micr. P0-2), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.
