It was assigned to Chaperiidae by Brown (1956); to Calloporidae by Brown (1958); to Farciminariidae by Cheetham (1962); to Cheilostomata by Sepkoski (2002); and to Quadricellariidae by Schmidt (2003), Bock (2006) and Guha (2013).
