Taxonomy
Eurysoria was named by Cooper (1983) [Sepkoski's age data: K l Sepkoski's reference number: 882]. Its type is Eurysoria texana. It is the type genus of Eurysoriinae.

It was assigned to Terebratulida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Eurysoriinae by Williams et al. (2006).
