Phillipsoceras carinatum
Taxonomy
Phillipsoceras carinatum was named by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1978). Its type specimen is PIN 455/46026, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bol. Suren River, S of Bogdanovskiy, Sample 4, Southern Urals, Bashkortostan, which is in a Kinderscoutian offshore shelf limestone in the Russian Federation.
