Alloioscarabaeus cheni

Taxonomy
Alloioscarabaeus cheni was named by Bai et al. (2012). Its type specimen is CNU-COL-NN2010603, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2010 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Alloioscarabaeus.
