It was assigned to Microporidae by Brown (1952); and to Thalamoporellidae by Bassler (1953).

  • Foraminella was named by Levinsen (1909) [Not homonym Foraminella Sowerby 1835, a gastropod]. It is extant.

    It was replaced with Opaeophora by Bassler (1953).
