Foliesaurus boutersemensis
Taxonomy
Foliesaurus boutersemensis was named by Auge and Smith (2009). Its type specimen is IRSNB R245 (prev. BOU-AR-40-RS) (incomplete right dentary lacking anterior part) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boutersem TGV, which is in a Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Foliesaurus.
