Sabresuchus ibericus
Taxonomy
Theriosuchus ibericus was named by Brinkman (1992). Its type specimen is MfN MB.R IPFUB 102/21.2, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Uña, which is in a Barremian alluvial fan limestone/lignite in the La Huérguina Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Sabresuchus.
It was recombined as Sabresuchus ibericus by Tennant et al. (2016).
