Diadectes carinatus
Taxonomy
Animasaurus carinatus was named by Case and Williston (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baldwin, near Animas, which is in a Wolfcampian terrestrial horizon in the Abo Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Animasaurus.
It was recombined as Diadectes carinatus by Kissel (2010).
