Taxonomy
Pseudocricetodon montalbanensis was named by Thaler (1969). Its type specimen is MLBS 505, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montalbán 1D, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in Spain.
