Taxonomy
Baltoeurypterus henningsmoeni was named by Tetlie (2002). Its type specimen is PMO 70561/70688, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gjettum, Bærum, which is in a Sheinwoodian peritidal limestone in the Steinsfjorden Formation of Norway.
It was recombined as Eurypterus henningsmoeni by Tetlie (2006).
