Taxonomy
Cycloderma debroinae was named by Meylan et al. (1990). Its type specimen is NMK-LT-17200, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lothagam 1, which is in a Messinian/Piacenzian fluvial-deltaic sandstone in the Lothagam 1 Formation of Kenya.
