Parkinsonia nitaensis

Taxonomy
Parkinsonia nitaensis was named by Besnosov (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/4028 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Datuna, Dagestan (upper middle Tsudakhar Fm, parkinsoni-zigzag), which is in a Parkinsoni/Bathonian marine horizon in the Tsudakhar Formation of the Russian Federation.
