Taxonomy
Lucina (Here) hannai was named by Clark (1938). Its type specimen is UCMP 30841, a valve (left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP A1297, which is in an Eocene marine sandstone in the Markley Formation of California.
