E. Perrier 1928Pleurodontes. Langue écailleuse, très faiblement échancrée (BRÉ- VILINGUES). Ostéodermes très développés, présentant un tubule transversal et plusieurs tubules longitudinaux. Prémaxillaires séparés ; arcs temporaux complets; fosse supratemporale recouverte par des os dermiques. Pas de pores fémoraux. Genres de vie très variés. Tous les passages entre les pattes complètes et les pattes avortées ou même nulles. Vivipares. Cosmopolites.
