Taxonomy
Ammonites cunningtoni inermis was named by Pervinquière (1907) [Acanthoceras cunningtoni var. inermis DISTRIBUTION: Cenomanian; Cosmopolitan.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Euomphaloceras inerme by Kennedy (1971) and Zaborski (1985); it was recombined as Cunningtoniceras inerme by Wright and Kennedy (1987) and Kennedy (1994).
