Antiplanes macfarlandi
Taxonomy
Antiplanes macfarlandi was named by Berry (1947). Its type specimen is Berry Coll. 11885, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hilltop Quarry (1930s-1950s) [Lomita Marl], which is in a Pleistocene offshore marl in the Lomita Marl Formation of California.
