Taxonomy
Muensterella jillae was named by Fuchs et al. (2019). Its type specimen is NPL81150. and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wallace quarry, Sherman, which is in a Turonian marine horizon in the South Bosque Formation of Texas.
