Taxonomy
Allodia paleoafricana was named by Bouju et al. (2021). Its type specimen is MAIG 6017, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Ethiopian amber (MAIG collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Ethiopia.
