Archaeonema longicellulare
Taxonomy
Archaeonema longicellularis was named by Schopf (1968). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Harvard Univ. 58478; stage coordinates 14.1 x 106.1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North of Ross River Tourist Camp, which is in a Tonian peritidal chert in the Bitter Springs Formation of Australia.
