Spalacotheroides bridwelli

Taxonomy
Spalacotheroides bridwelli was named by Patterson (1955) [genotype]. Its type specimen is CHMN-PM 933, a mandible, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Greenwood Canyon, which is in an Albian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Antlers Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Spalacotheroides.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Cifelli et al. (2000).
