Antilloseris was named by Vaughan (1905) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-u Sepkoski's reference number: 2]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Scleractinia by Sepkoski (2002); and to Calamophylliidae by Wells (1940), Wells (1956) and López-Pérez (2005).
