Taxonomy
Hypseloconus bonneterrense was named by Stinchcomb (1975). It is not extant. Its type locality is Big River banks 2.7 kilometers southwest of Irondale, which is in a Dresbachian reef, buildup or bioherm dolomite in the Bonneterre Formation of Missouri.
