Ectomaria nieszkowskii
Taxonomy
Murchisonia nieszkowskii was named by Schmidt (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Porkuni, Siuge Member, which is in a Porkuni perireef or subreef lime mudstone/chert in the Ärina Formation of Estonia. It is the type species of Ectomaria.
It was recombined as Ectomaria nieszkowskii by Koken (1896), Koken and Perner (1925), Knight et al. (1960) and Wagner (2023).
