Dormaalocyon latouri
Taxonomy
Miacis latouri was named by Quinet (1966). Its type specimen is IRNSB M1360, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dormaal, which is in a Ypresian fluvial sandstone in the Tienen Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Dormaalocyon.
It was recombined as Dormaalocyon latouri by Missiaen et al. (2013) and Solé et al. (2014).
