Taxonomy
Kolopsoides cultridens was named by Plane (1967). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Watut River, which is in a Pliocene fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic/tuff in the Otibanda Formation of Papua New Guinea. It is the type species of Kolopsoides.
