Where: Queensland, Australia (20.9° S, 148.1° E: paleocoordinates 56.2° S, 140.5° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Pseudostrophalosia clarkei brachiopod zone, Blenheim Formation, Wuchiapingian (259.9 - 254.2 Ma)
• Presence of Echinalosia aff. denisoni and Terrakea elongata suggests an age within the P. clarkei zone, correlated with the upper part of APP4.3 palynomorph zone (Briggs, 1998). The APP4.3 zone was constrained as mid-Wuchiapingian age by U-Pb dating in Laurie et al. (2016).
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: marine; lithified siliciclastic sediments
Size class: macrofossils
Preservation: mold/impression
Reposited in the UQ
