Also known as Bolbolenellus euryparia occurrence zonule (litho 1)
Where: Inyo County, California (35.8° N, 116.2° W: paleocoordinates 1.8° S, 97.0° W)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Bolbolenellus euryparia trilobite zone, Echo/Eagle Shale and Gold Ace Limestone Member (Carrara Formation), Dyeran (515.3 - 511.2 Ma)
• Bolbolenellus euryparia occurrence zonule, mid-upper Olenellus zone
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: transition zone or lower shoreface; lithified shale and lithified limestone
Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils
Collection methods: Specimens from this site are split into an informal zonation. The zonation utilizes both acme and occurrence zonules, and subdivides some zonules into numbered subunits based on clearly distinguishable assemblages. However, relative species abundances, although reflected to some extent in the biostratigraphic zonation, are not listed. Only trilobites are included in the faunal list. The zonule name will be listed in the Zone datafield.
