Diacanthaspis (Acantholomina) minuta-Otarion Assemblage, Prague Basin (Silurian to of Czech Republic)

Where: Czech Republic (49.9° N, 14.2° E: paleocoordinates 51.8° S, 57.3° E)

• coordinate based on political unit

• local area-level geographic resolution

When: Kopanina Formation, Gorstian to Gorstian (427.4 - 423.0 Ma)

• Lower Kopanina.

• formation-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; volcaniclastic, gray, calcareous mudstone and gray, cherty/siliceous limestone

• "Trilobites commonly preserved...slightly disarticulated or complete...Fauna, usually concentrated in thin laminae...The facies is typically transitional between the carbonate and shale developments and its palaeogeographical position is analogous as that with the Mirapis- and Aulacopleura konincki Assemblages of Wenlockian age (a rather deep subtidal, lesser energy BA 4).
• "The sediments show a predominance of brown and grey-brown lamintaed calcareous mudstones with tuffaceous admixture and frequent intercalations anc concretions of ine-grained grey limestones or dolomites, locally silicified."
