When: San Marcos Formation, Early/Lower Pliocene (5.3 - 3.6 Ma)
• Resting on the Comondu Formation is about 200 ft of volcanic gravels, sandstones, and siltstones; many of the finer clastics contain fossils. The fossils indicate correlation to the San Marcos Formation of California (lower Pliocene). Collected from 20 ft higher than A 3528.
