Where: Somalia (11.2° N, 49.0° E: paleocoordinates 10.5° N, 46.5° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Dubar Formation (Guban Group), Early/Lower Miocene (23.0 - 16.0 Ma)
• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Dubar Fm [enterers usage] of the Guban Series [group?], and presumably regionally overlies Early Miocene strata (equivalent to the Naag Fm) and is overlain by the Late Miocene conglomerate.
