Type specimen: BSP 1879 XV 518, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Mouillac, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial phosphorite in the Quercy Phosphorites Formation of France.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of France (19 collections), Spain (1), Switzerland (1)

Total: 21 collections each including a single occurrence
