Type specimen: USNM 447533, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is USNM701c, Wolf Camp Hills, Glass Mountains, which is in an Asselian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Neal Ranch Formation of Texas.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
