Type specimen: USNM 115197. Its type locality is USNM712g, Powwow Canyon, Hueco Mountains, which is in a Sakmarian shallow subtidal limestone in the Hueco Formation of Texas.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore
