Type specimen: GSC 67093, a shell. Its type locality is GSC Loc. 16316, Cypress Hills [Bearpaw Fm], which is in a Campanian marine shale in the Bearpaw Shale Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (2: Saskatchewan collections)
