Type specimen: GSC 67104, a shell. Its type locality is GSC Loc. 10374, Frenchman River [Belanger Mbr, Bearpaw Fm], which is in a Campanian marine shale in the Bearpaw Shale Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (6: Saskatchewan collections), United States (2: Maryland, New Jersey)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
