Type specimen: NMBM 882, a shell (partial phragmocone). Its type locality is Rhodes Canyon (1st endoceroid zone), which is in a Demingian perireef or subreef grainstone in the Cooks Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Rhodes Canyon (1st endoceroid zone)
